Monique is a native New Yorker whose family originated in Barbados. She began handcrafting in 1993 with an array of floral designs, decorated albums, sewn home decor, and hand-painted items. In 1994, Monique began to create one-of-a-kind party experiences; weddings, showers, and birthdays. As a volunteer for many organizations in her community, she used those opportunities to share her unique ideas for gifts and decor. Until recently Monique designed only for friends and family. Today, creative designs by M.E. seeks to push to new and imaginative heights.
